Hi, I'm Elly.

My love for food began in Iran. As a child, I would return home from school to the aromas of my mum’s cooking – scents of lime, fenugreek, and saffron infused the air. Mum would always tell me, "the secret ingredient is love."

This philosophy has inspired The Taste of Persia. We genuinely care about the dishes we serve and use the finest local ingredients. We offer vegetarian and vegan options, and our recipes are based on the traditions handed down from generations.

You can find us at Hobart’s Salamanca Market every Saturday. We also cater for events, festivals and functions across Tasmania. Delicious food has a way of making you feel at home, no matter where you are. I look forward to sharing this experience with you.
